Ubu prize for the stage show of 2009 as' year was awarded to "The demons dostoevskiani" directed by Peter Stein, Walter Malosti best director for "Four profane acts" by Anthony Tarantino. The awards, considered the most important Italian theater and judged by a panel of 63 critics, were presented this evening at the Piccolo Teatro Grassi of Milan, their historic home, in a ceremony conducted by Piero Chiambretti the presence of so many artists and personalities from the theater. Best Actress of 2009 Ermanna Beppe Battiston Montanari and best actor for his acclaimed interpretation of 'Orson Welles' roast. The Piccolo Teatro of Milan, which had collected the highest number of nominations, won awards for Supporting Actor Fausto Russo Alesi and Francesca Ciocchetti and that for the best news of foreign author with "Just the end of the world" by Jean- Luc Lagarce. Best Art Direction in a tie and Daniela Dal Cin Margherita Palli.
