I am convinced of the need to know as many people as possible, the responsibilities of Italian in the English Civil War and in particular on the bombing of Barcelona and Catalonia, which provide many thousands of victims.
I also know, from experience, that is not easy to intervene in the matters of official recognition of the Italian military participants with the repression of Franco's Spain and libertarian Republican. In Trieste, we have tried, as free and equal citizens, to block the dedication of a public space with Mario Granbassi, propagandist of the fascist regime and died in Spain. After a year and a half of protests and demonstrations (and the opposition of some thirty historical Catalan) May 13 the City has opened the shop right at issue (See Historia Magistra No 2, one of my art.).
