Question urgent Marco Tulli on the plaque dedicated to the Vittorino Ceccherelli L. Classic

WHEREAS, on October 9 will be opened in Arezzo, St. Ignatius at the hall, the exhibition "The Rain BOMBS. The bombing and the city of Barcelona during the Civil War, "a retrospective exhibition given by the Democratic Memorial of Catalonia on the English Civil War (1936-1939), which marks the seventieth.

GIVEN that the atrium inside the entrance of the Liceo Classico "F. Petrarca of Arezzo, in Cavour at number 44, is a memorial dedicated to fellow VITTORINO Ceccherelli Lieutenant Pilot Aviation Legionnaire, "fell in Spain" (1936), a gold medal for military valor.

CONSIDERING that the achievement of that tombstone, dating back to fascist, in a context of glorification of the war of aggression against the English people and its legitimate government, in support of the coup leader Francisco Franco.

CONSIDERING that Fascist Italy, with eighty thousand men, thousands of artillery pieces and, above all, hundreds of planes known as Air Force Legion of Ceccherelli which the fellow was a lieutenant, played a role factor in the victory of Franco, Mussolini, for the first time in Europe, Barcelona experienced the effects of carpet bombing against civilian populations (two hundred missions in the "heroic" unloaded our compatriots on the Catalan capital a thousand tons of bombs causing approximately three thousand victims ) and that these war crimes are scientifically proven.

CONSIDERING that time, and at least until 2005, the indoor hall of the said High School where is the tombstone of Ceccherelli, was the meeting place of pilgrimage and nostalgic Francoist English and Italian neo-fascists, as reported by local press

Last, in a continuation of this situation as democratically incongruous and that the maintenance of the "fallen in Spain", in place of education, work would require at least adequate information, and - conversely - can be seen in the city, and unfortunately in the same school authorities concerned, indifference, or even a ill-concealed tendency to renew the cult of personality (eg. "Headlines of History" in September 2008 devotes its cover to the 'heroic aviator).

He questioned whether this Administration will not consider it necessary to champion against all relevant bodies to be taken into account the possibility of positioning, in addition to the above plaque, at least an information panel that explains the story of Victorinus Ceccherelli in the historical context in which events took place and to promote appropriate public policy initiatives of historical information aimed at students, teachers and school administrators (with particular attention to the same High School).
